Harman Singh Kapoor showed a picture that said "Muhammad is the most common name among rapists worldwide" and asked the AI assistant Grok if that is true.
It seemed like he wanted to find reasons to support a story that might be hurtful and unfair to a particular group of people.
Grok says there isn't enough strong worldwide data to prove that the name "Muhammad" is linked to anything bad. "Muhammad" is a very common name, with over 150 million people having it, so it shows up a lot in different groups.
In some countries, other names like David, Michael, John, and Daniel are found more often among people who cause trouble. Grok also says that any stories claiming otherwise are just based on a few examples or personal stories, not on solid proof.
Instead of getting help, Kapoor's question was answered with an explanation that explained the facts and said that guesses like that aren't based on real evidence.
How important is it to check if what you share is true before sharing something that might hurt other groups? What do you think?
