The snake is a slithering creature that strikes fear in the hearts of many due to its venomous bite. Despite its terrifying reputation, some people choose to keep snakes as pets. When it comes to appearance, there is nothing particularly remarkable about these creatures.
A snake's eyes are not designed for clear vision during the day, but they are sharp and alert at night. Like humans, snakes have their own tricks and strategies for survival and hunting for prey using their eyes. The blind-like eyes of snakes actually function like camera lenses. If you take a closer look at a snake's eyes, you'll notice small holes resembling those of a dragonfly. These holes contain infrared rays, which allow the snake to detect heat/signals in its surroundings. When a snake cannot see an object, these infrared rays come into play, enabling the snake to visualize the object in its brain.
Have you ever heard parents or neighbors always warn that if you kill a snake, its head must be crushed? Why not its tail, or its middle part crushed instead? Have you ever asked them back? Many of our parents do not know the reason.
A dead snake, but its head is not crushed means that the snake's eyes are not destroyed either. So, the eyes of a dead snake can record all the events before its death in them. Other snake friends can access that recording only through the remaining eyes. In terms of technology, it's like a Bluetooth program. It is not surprising if a group of snakes kills a human to death.
There is a real story near the writer's village. A rice farmer killed a snake, and that night there were several snakes in the farmer's house. The farmer was really chased by two snakes, and eventually died from being sprayed by snakes of the same kind as the one he killed.
