The Middle East might experience a big change in how computers and technology work

Iran warned that if the US or Israel attack again or make the conflict bigger, they might cut the underwater internet cables in the Middle East, which could cause big problems for internet service in the area.

Iran's top security boss, Mohsen Rezaei, said on TV today that Iran is warning others. He also said Iran's way of protecting itself has changed and now covers more areas, not just regular military targets.

He said that if there is another war, many cables, data centers, AI places, and other sites in the Middle East could be destroyed, causing big problems. He also mentioned that US internet places near the Gulf are also being watched as targets.

This important warning comes after Tehran said that Washington's new plans to reopen the Strait of Hormuz are not good enough, according to internet starlink.

Experts say that destroying the underwater internet cables could stop money, phone calls, and online shopping from working, because many of these things rely on special routes in the Middle East.
