Brunei Darussalam does not see Israel as a separate country and has not made official friendships or connections with it since becoming independent in 1984.
The country agrees that Palestine is a state and supports creating two countries with borders from before 1967, with East Baitulmaqdis as the capital. People with Israeli citizenship are not allowed to enter or pass through, even if they stay on the plane.
People with Israeli passports might not be allowed to enter forever, and trying to get in could cause them to pay money or be sent away.
People from Brunei cannot use their passports to visit Israel, and this rule will stay the same from 2026 onward, just like in many other countries that do not allow Israelis to travel there.
