People in Jordan are asking everyone not to go to the Andrea Bocelli concert next month at the ancient city of Petra because they don't agree with his past actions and his support for Israel.
A well-known Italian singer who sings like a man and supports Israel.
Bocelli went to Tel Aviv in 2022 after the Israeli Opera asked him to come. He gave a special concert at the bottom of the famous Masada mountain in June.
This concert finished a big opera festival that also had shows of "Aida" at Masada and "Jerusalem," which the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu watched. He also sang at a charity event in Los Angeles in 2010 to help the Israeli military (IDF).
He said it's not okay for Petra, a famous place in Jordan and the Arab world, to be used for a concert by someone who has helped raise money for the army occupying land.
