Taufik Hidayat, also known as Opik, lived his whole life causing havoc. Mr. Tata now knows that Taufik Hidayat turned into a monster because he was overly spoiled and pampered as a child.
"I even thought, what was this child fed that he turned out like this... The youngest child died from an overdose, the second child became an alcoholic, and Opik even burned his father's head with wood while he was working in the fields!"

BANDUNG Cruel! The dark veil behind the sadistic and barbaric character of Taufik Hidayat, also known as Opik, has finally been revealed in a new podcast with Mr. Dedi Mulyadi (KDM). In front of the public, Mr. Tata, the biological father of the perpetrator, along with Ms. Susi, the first ex-wife of the perpetrator, exposed all the disgrace and track record of the debt collector who is now detained in the West Java Regional Police.
Regret always comes too late. With a trembling voice, Mr. Tata admitted that his son's brutal behavior was a result of past mistakes of spoiling the perpetrator too much. Among the four siblings, Taufik Hidayat was the most cherished son and always defended by Mr. Tata as a child just because he had the most handsome face. However, the excessive love only grew a monster. Mr. Tata provided facts that he had been a victim of abuse by his favorite son.
"He would often fight with me, Sir. He even once hit me on the head with wood while I was working in the fields. Just because he was idle at home and wanted to eat, but there was no fish as side dish. He came to the field and hit me from behind," Mr. Tata revealed with a resentful tone.
Luckily, Mr. Tata's life was saved at that time by two fellow farm workers who stopped the perpetrator's brutal actions.
Mr. Tata's suffering is compounded when looking at his tragic family situation. Out of four children, his eldest daughter has passed away. His youngest child died tragically due to a drug overdose. Meanwhile, his second child grew up to be a troublemaker. Considering the unruly behavior of his children, the biological mother of the perpetrator suffered severe depression and mental illness.
"The mother was stressed for a whole year, crying hysterically seeing the behavior of her children. She would often walk alone in the mountains until I had to search for her everywhere, until she fell ill and passed away," Mr. Tata reminisced.
Not only did Taufik Hidayat destroy his parents' lives, but he also left behind deep trauma for his first ex-wife, Ms. Susi, whom he married in 2015. Ms. Susi revealed that their marriage only lasted two weeks due to the perpetrator's extremely jealous, possessive, and materialistic nature.
"During the two weeks of marriage, every small issue was blown out of proportion. He took the 10 grams of dowry and my engagement ring and ran off with them," Ms. Susi recounted to Kang Dedi Mulyadi.
Even more shocking, Ms. Susi exposed the perpetrator's deviant behavior when his biological desires peaked but were not immediately satisfied.
"He was so jealous that I couldn't leave the house. If he wanted to be treated like a man, instead of being romantic, he would get angry, throw his helmet and shoes around until I was scared," she added.
After being left alone while pregnant, Ms. Susi now has to work as a factory laborer to support their 10-year-old child.
Sadly, from birth until now, Taufik Hidayat has only visited his own child twice without ever providing a penny in child support.
